     ROMA - Il leader di Forza Italia Silvio Berlusconi dice di "non
     voler perdere tempo" con un altro governo e non condivide la
     necessita' di cambiare la legge elettorale sottolineata dal capo
     dello Stato Giorgio Napolitano nel conferire l'incarico a Franco
     Marini.

     the head of the state Giorgio Napolitano in conferring the task
     to Franco Marini.

     Al termine dell'incontro con il leader dell'Udc Pierferdinando
     Casini, ai cronisti che chiedevano cosa dira' a Marini,
     incaricato dal capo dello Stato di formare un nuovo governo,
     Berlusconi ha detto: "Che non siamo d'accordo su fatto che ci sia
     bisogno di cambiare legge elettorale, e di perdere tempo men che
     meno con altro governo".

     Pierferdinando Casini, to the reporters who were asking what will
     be told to Marini, put to task by the head of the State in
     forming a new government, Berlusconi said: "That we are not in
     agreement on the fact that we are in need of changing electoral
     law, and of losing time even less with another government".

MJA  At the end of the meeting with the leader of the UDC,
     Pierferdinando Casini, reporters who asked what he will say to
     Marini, appointed by the President to form a new Government,
     Berlusconi responded "That we do not agree in fact that there is
     a need to change the electoral law, and losing time least of all
     with another administration".

     "Restiamo nel nostro convincimento, che quando un governo e un
     presidente del Consiglio non hanno piu' una maggioranza si debba
     tornare dagli elettori [...] anche a tutela degli stessi elettori
     che hanno votato Prodi", ha continuato Berlusconi.

HFG  "We rest on our convictions, that when a government and a Council
     President don't have a majority one must turn to the voters [...]
     also to protect the same voters that voted for Prodi", Berlusconi
     continued.

MJA  "We maintain our belief, that when a Government and a president
     of the Council no longer have a majority, it should return to the
     voters […] also in defense of the same electorate that voted for
     Prodi", continued Berlusconi.

     Al termine dell'incontro i due leader hanno diramato un
     comunicato congiunto in cui si dicono concordi "sul fatto che la
     prossima dovra' essere una legislatura costituente".

     four smiling young Beatles at the peak of their popularity.

     a technique known as Transcendental Meditation. He is now
     believed to be 91 and on Tuesday, a close adviser said he has
     retreated into near silence and turned over the day-to-day
     running of his global network to aides.
